Who we are?

Metis HR is an owner operated HR consultancy in Rossendale, Lancashire with a small close knit team of HR professionals. We’ve been around for 11 years now and developed an enviable reputation for client satisfaction. We call a spade a spade and what you see is what you get; we’re authentic, friendly and honest people. We trust each other and are highly trusted by our clients.

We’re just about to embark on an exciting new period of growth as we move into our own purpose built new premises in Rossendale. The move will give us some exciting opportunities to expand the business. We’re looking for someone who relishes being recognised and visible in the business. You will want to make an impact and be highly trusted yourself.

What’s on offer

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Office based in brand new premises with occasional visits to client premises

The successful candidate will either be an employee resourcing generalist or an experienced people manager with an interest in HR

You’ll report directly to the Managing Director, with the opportunity to make a real impact on the development of our business. You will need to be

  • tactful and diplomatic, with an eye for detail
  • commercially aware, able to work economically and think on your feet
  • an excellent communicator both in writing and verbally
  • a fast, accurate notetaker
  • someone who lives within 20 miles travelling distance to Stacksteads, OL13 0TS
  • proficient user of MS suite of products
  • experience of using a customer database, if you’ve experience of Pipedrive that would be great
  • comfortable around dogs (our MD brings her two small dogs into the office each day)
